Aprill 2014 Review of ADT, Installers got Screwed

ADT's Friday special news flash! Hope you all are working fervently; installers you are not on commission pay as of this coming week, but will be paid hourly. This new policy will be nearly a 40% pay-cut (or more) for you, this will fund our pockets, thank you so much, hope you enjoy your weekend and thanks for reading this email. Perhaps we will be covering this more at our next meeting. Although do not expect it, believe that this email has satisfied all the questions and concerns you may have.  Thanks, again for all of your hard work.   Do continue to work hard and be cheerful to keep our customers happy and happier.  Please do not say anything to your families how it will be unpleasantly turbulent to pay for your future rent or mortgage payments.  Thanks, again. Bye!

P.S. Don't bother to reply, we all are in it together. Remember, be happy.

Honestly, DOES ADT CARE FOR ITS EMPLOYEES? The above translates how much ADT truly value its work force. Believe that ADT’s board of officers is upset for not taking the first place accolade of being, "The Worst Company to Work For in the USA"

The service, admin, and installers of ADT needs to fire their current union and get a union that will help them to fight a company that treats their employees like shit and not even remotely at a level such like cattle before the slaughter (this was the previous elevation of ADT's prestige undertaking prior and still is ).

We the employees need to stand up and thrust out their ass though the shit they give out to us.

  1. Not all installers are paid hourly. What market(s) are like this? How much are they paid?
Tip: Google ADT AND IBEW agreement. You'll find actual installer contracts with pay scales.

    1. Samuel, this is one individual that helped fucked us, the installers, and is bolstering that he fucked his own employees. He even bolster about it, the asshole. All he care about is his own bonuses like the rest his aristocrats. ADT is killing itself from the within. The aristocrats has now showed their demonstration on how they tend to treat us their employees with no respect and without dignity.

  3. the installers in my market are still paid by the job, rather than hourly. Although there are service techs now doing add ons every now and then and they are paid hourly

  5. Shit! What are you and your team going to do? Pucker up and cry. Sorry, but that is what the installers are doing at our office. As individuals you are f- - - -, as a team, nationwide, you could be strong. Hell, it seems like your union and leaders are weak, foolish, with no sense of directs, and have no backbone. Perhaps, ADT had bought your union and your leaders.

  6. Perhaps, we, the installers should set up date and strike until ADT meet our demands. Let’s send ADT and our slumber union we have now to hell, and let us start our new union and get new coverage. Past this on to the other installers.

    1. We need to get this out on to the news, of course, if this goes anywhere. The news agencies I would recommend would be, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News, and any others that I may of missed here. Any union lawyers out there that may be able to assist us would be welcome.

  7. This is to the service techs of ADT that are in the union. Why be in the union if you you are not willing to strike with the installer techs. Chicken shits is what you service techs are. Nowadays, $25 is not a good pay for season techs. Specifically speaking, when the actual cost of living keeps going up. Hell, a pound of sirloin is around 10 bucks and that makes 2.5 pounds equal one hour of your pay. Service techs, when was the last time you got a pay raise or even a cost of living raise from ADT. Again, why are we in the union and pay the monthly fees, when we do not stand up and let our voices be heard as of one. Unfornuantely and deplorably, you, the service techs are wimps

  8. were waiting to organize in my state, but I think in order for this to work, we have to wait for the installers to go hourly here... They are commisson paid and are forced to work their full 8 hours. Does that sound right?

  9. Really? Anyone that posts as "Anonymous" is, by definition, "a wimp." You want them to form a picket line? Why? As an installer, did you support the union? Were you making more than technicians? Probably. Did you ever suggest the installers form a picket line to support higher wages for technicians when you and/or your installer cronies were being paid more and then MUCH MORE due to "Prevailing Wages" with jobs with The U.S. Marshalls and other Federal Government Contract Jobs? Before you get your spine in a twist, do some research on picket lines, sit-down strikes and other labor movements. Start with Haymarket Square & work towards the Flint Sit-Down Strikes of the late 30's (READ: OCCUPY DETROIT!). Do you feel so strong against the wimp ADT technicians to sacrifice your career or your LIFE for the betterment of ADT employees that stand next to you on that line and the employees that will follow behind you? Calling your Brothers & Sisters, your fellow employees, "Wimps" indicates to me that you are not prepared for the battle that is in front of you. Go back to getting drunk and bitching to your wife & 3 kids about the scumbag technicians until you are ready to put your own balls on the line to advance you fellow employees, and hopefully yourself, to a better future, you spineless, anonymous jerkasss.
